Palatine strengthens Buyout team with new hire

We have appointed Briony Fagan as Investment Manager in our Buyout team.

Briony joins us with more than 10 years’ experience in corporate finance and investment, spanning financial due diligence, private equity and venture capital.

She began her career at business advisors Grant Thornton, where she spent five years across Transaction Advisory Services and Tax.

In her most recent role at North-West based Arete Capital Partners, she worked across the full investment lifecycle, from evaluating new opportunities and executing transactions through to supporting management teams with value creation and growth initiatives.

Among the investments she has been closely involved with include Vivify Venues and Travel Seen, where she supported both companies’ management teams with M&A activity and strategic growth initiatives.

In her new role, Briony will focus on identifying and evaluating new investment opportunities, working with management teams and helping businesses deliver their growth ambitions as part of the Palatine portfolio.

Briony said: “Having worked across the full investment cycle, from financial due diligence through to deployment for the last five years, I had a clear view of the kind of role and environment I wanted next.
