Rachael Taplin

I enjoy developing long-term relationships with management teams and learning about their businesses, particularly those who share my passion for driving positive social and/or environmental change in our society. I acknowledge the importance of this for shared commercial success.
My role as an Investment Manager in the Impact Fund is focused on identifying businesses with clear potential to scale, supporting management teams through the investment process and helping to shape and deliver value enhancement.
I joined Palatine in 2023, having worked as a manager within the Corporate Finance team at Grant Thornton for several years. I had the pleasure of meeting and advising a range of management teams across various sectors.
I love to book spontaneous trips to explore new places, both close to home and further afield. I keep busy during my free time by attending gym classes, which I balance out by enjoying good food and my fair share of wine with friends in Manchester.
