bk plus expands into Birmingham City Centre with MDP acquisition

bk plus has announced the addition of respected Birmingham firm MDP, marking a significant milestone in its ongoing national expansion.

The move sees bk plus open its first city centre office in the Midlands, returning to the heart of where the business began just five years ago in Walsall. What started as a single-office firm has now grown to 35 offices and more than 700 people, positioning bk plus as one of the fastest-growing independent accountancy and advisory firms in the UK.

MDP brings deep local knowledge, long-standing client relationships and a strong reputation for trusted advice to SMEs and owner-managed businesses across Birmingham. The team will continue operating from its existing city centre office, now supported by the full resources, specialist expertise and national reach of the bk plus network.

The addition caps off a transformative year for bk plus, during which the firm has strengthened its presence across Scotland, Yorkshire, the North West and the South West through a series of strategic acquisitions.
