fulfilmentcrowd acquires Fulfilment.nl to accelerate European growth

fulfilmentcrowd, a tech-led global fulfilment provider, has acquired Fulfilment.nl, a high-growth Dutch ecommerce logistics specialist.

The deal accelerates the group’s expansion in the fast-growing EU omnichannel ecommerce market. The Netherlands is one of Europe’s most important logistics hubs, and the acquisition strengthens the group’s ability to serve cross-border ecommerce demand at scale.

By combining Fulfilment.nl’s local expertise with fulfilmentcrowd’s technology platform and international network, the enlarged group is well positioned to support ecommerce brands looking to grow across the Netherlands and wider EU.

Fulfilment.nl brings a strong financial profile, underpinned by consistent volume growth, long-term customer relationships and high productivity.

The transaction is expected to enhance margins through economies of scale, cost synergies and shared technology. The combined network will span seven fulfilment centres across the EU, increasing capacity and operational efficiency.

The acquisition supports fulfilmentcrowd’s strategy of sustainable growth through targeted investment in high-performing fulfilment businesses, alongside Palatine’s commitment to backing ambitious, high-growth companies across the UK and beyond.

Palatine invested in fulfilmentcrowd through its Buyout Fund, which targets growing, profitable businesses across the UK. Its hands-on approach and strong sustainability focus have supported fulfilmentcrowd in expanding both its technology capabilities and international footprint since the initial investment.
