Greg Holmes wins Private Equity/Venture Capital Professional of the Year Award

Impact Fund Investment Director Greg Holmes has won the Private Equity/Venture Capital Professional of the Year Award at the Insider North West Young Professionals Awards 2024.

Greg Holmes has been instrumental in the success of Cura Terrae, Redmoor, and Roydon. His leadership has guided these companies on their ambitious growth journeys. In 2023, he led Roydon through the deal origination and execution processes, setting the stage for a promising 2024.

Greg firmly believes in using private equity to deliver impact, and his actions at the board level have directly impacted the success of each of the portfolio’s ESG strategies.

Manchester Young Lives is a children and young people’s charity with a 53-year history of working with disadvantaged children and young people in Manchester. Greg has been a valued Trustee of the organisation for over 2 years, supporting the organisation during a period of change with new income streams and changes in leadership he has been a reassuring figure, providing consistent support. Greg’s area of responsibility on the board is finance; sharing his knowledge and expertise, overseeing the charity accounts, providing financial advice, recommendations on charity bank accounts and is a key point of contact with the charity’s accountant. Greg was also a significant help during the recruitment process of a new leader when the former CEO retired in Summer 2022.  Greg is a dedicated trustee and will always offer support, even if it’s out of his remit in order to the fulfil the charities work.
