announce senior management appointments


Simon Lloyd has been appointed as’s new Chief Marketing Officer and will start his new role on 6th January 2020.

Simon has previously held a number of executive roles with leading British brands including AXA, Superdry, BBC and Virgin Atlantic where he was the Chief Marketing Officer.

Reporting directly to CEO Richard Singer, Simon will be responsible for shaping the company’s strategic approach to marketing, working closely with the broader Commercial and Product teams.

Explains Simon: “I am thrilled to be joining at such a great time. I look forward to working with the team to continue the great work already undertaken, focussing on creating and delivering best-in-class marketing initiatives to inspire new and existing customers as we scale further.”

In addition to Simon’s appointment,’s Board has been bolstered with the appointment of Elliot Muscant as Non-Executive Advisor. The co-founder and Managing Partner of marketing agency, Open Partners, former CEO of Dentsu Aegis and MD of MediaVest Manchester is a serial entrepreneur who enjoys comprehensive experience in the marketing sector at the very highest level.

As we look to further develop our customer proposition and expand, his wealth of experience in growth businesses and digital marketplaces will be invaluable.”

Simon and Elliot join at the end of a highly successful year that has seen the brand recognised with a host of awards. These include Best Travel Comparison Website at the British Travel Awards 2019; Travel Brand of the Year and Best Metasearch at the Travolution Awards 2019; Best Travel Comparison Website at the Travelmole Awards 2019; and Travel Brand of the Year at the Travel Marketing Awards 2019.

I am delighted to welcome Simon to the team as our Chief Marketing Officer. He has an excellent track record for building brand equity within and without travel, with senior expertise in brand, CRM, insights, content, social, digital marketing and media engagement.  2020 is set to be an exciting time for as we look to raise the brand’s profile and drive differentiation. Simon’s role will be pivotal to achieve our ambitious growth targets.
