Palatine-backed Atombit broadens reach into French and Arabic markets with acquisition of Elyadata

Atombit, the data and AI outcomes consultancy backed by our Buyout Fund has announced the acquisition of Elyadata, an AI and data engineering company with offices in Paris and Tunis.

Elyadata is the sixth company to join Atombit since the initial investment in May 2025 and the first since the group launched its new brand and website on 1st October.

Founded in Tunisia in 2017, Elyadata was created for the AI era: bringing strategy, research and engineering together, so that the people defining a solution are close to those building and using it.

It is a 60-strong team combining AI engineering, solution design, development and operations for clients across Europe, specialising in insurance, banking, retail, and healthcare. Elyadata also runs an applied research activity with academic partners on international projects in AI, data and machine learning, which feeds directly into its engineering practice.

Elyadata matches Atombit’s core data and AI outcomes capabilities and adds talent, scale and experience. Its combination of senior consulting,  AI talent and IT delivery strengthens the engineering behind Atombit’s Agentic Architecture –and deepens the data and AI expertise Atombit brings to every function it serves. It also extends the group’s reach into Benelux and across French- and Arabic-speaking markets.

Paolo Righetti, Founder and CEO of Atombit, said: “Every enterprise is being rebuilt around human and artificial intelligence working as one, and the ones that connect their functions first will compound the advantage. Elyadata brings senior consultants who understand the business, engineers who run AI in production, and researchers who keep both ahead of the market. They think the way we think, and they work the way we work. That is rare, and our clients will feel it from the first engagement. I am delighted to welcome Salim and his team as the first company to join the new Atombit.”

Salim Jouili, CEO of Elyadata, said: “Elyadata exists to put AI to work in production, and that is what Atombit was created for. Our clients keep the team they know and gain the reach and expertise of a European group behind it. For our people it means new colleagues, new markets and a group with room to grow into. We chose Atombit for its people as much as its opportunity, and I have never been more excited about what we can achieve together.”

Welcoming the acquisition Danielle Garland, Investment Director at Palatine said: “As AI continues to redefine the business landscape demand for value-added consultancy advice continues to grow.

“With a strong cultural fit and a team of experienced consultants, Elyadata is a great strategic acquisition to the Atombit group, deepening its geographical footprint in Europe and North Africa.”

Since its formation, Atombit has brought together Amplify Analytix, DWise Consulting, J2 Reliance, Profusion and Omega3C. The group has five offices across Europe and India and a team of more than 200 AI and data scientists.
