Palatine crowned Small Buyout House of the Year
Palatine Private Equity took home the award for Small Buyout House of the Year at the Unquote British Private Equity Awards earlier this week.
The win comes on the back of an active 12 months, which saw the firm launch its £100m Impact Fund, complete five new deals and successfully exit two business, generating market leading returns for Palatine investors.
More than 450 private equity professionals attended the 14th Unquote Awards in London to celebrate a remarkable 12 months in UK private equity.
Palatine was also shortlisted for three other awards, including Responsible Investor of the Year, Fundraise of the Year (Impact Fund) and Mid-Market Exit of the Year for the sale of Westleigh to Countryside Properties plc, which generated a 3x return and 96% IRR within less than two years of the initial investment.
We are incredibly proud of this achievement and it’s great to be recognised by one of the leading awarding bodies in our industry. It has been a challenging year for all involved in private equity, but with the commitment from our team we have been able to get a number of quality transactions over the line.
