Palatine Private Equity has pledged to support the Manchester Access Programme Scholarships (MAP).
The scholarship programme, headed by the University of Manchester, is targeted at students in Greater Manchester who come from backgrounds underrepresented in higher education.
The programme works with local schools and colleges to identify talented pupils aged 16+ who would otherwise be unlikely to attend university due to them living in areas with very low participation in higher education, having low household incomes and/or no family tradition of attending university.
MAP aims to support these students through a series of events and activities which enable them to develop the skills and confidence to apply to university.

Being headquartered in Manchester, we have strong relations with The University of Manchester and we are delighted to be able to support these young people through this fantastic initiative.
