Tom Wildig named Young Financier of the Year at Insider Young Professionals Awards 2020
Investment Director, Tom Wildig has been named ‘Young Financier of the Year’ at this year’s Insider Young Professionals Awards.
Tom was celebrated for the integral part he played in two of the most significant private equity deals in the North West during the submission period, Suntera Global and Vernacare.
Tom is an invaluable member of the Palatine team due to his outstanding contribution in deal origination, execution and portfolio management. At 34yrs, Tom has achieved investment director promotion and is a highly regarded non-executive director, holding two board positions for businesses in the lower mid-market.
Tom is also an active participant in our local charity and community initiatives and endeavours to help businesses grow responsibly through our commitment to Environment, Social and Governance best practices.
Whether it was negotiation with vendors, finding solutions to issues, building a value creation plan or raising a debt package to support our growth, Tom was central to all aspects of the transaction. He has continued to support us with acquisitions and played a key role on the strategic acquisition of Helm. Tom has built an excellent relationship with the team and I’m sure will continue to add value whilst we are in the Palatine portfolio.
