My role is to take an overall view of the deals our Buyout fund is investing in and to provide support and assistance to the deal teams in each of our three offices. I will also provide support to management teams and NEDs post investment where appropriate. I am a member of the Buyout Investment Committee.

I am proud of the supportive approach we take to investing.  Building strong relationships with our management teams and supporting them post deal will always be a very important aspect of what we do. I enjoy seeing our relationships develop through the life of an investment to deliver positive outcomes for all involved.

I have been a private equity investor for over twenty five years. I founded Palatine alongside Gary and Ed in 2005 and was head of Aberdeen Murray Johnstone Private Equity London office before that.

Outside of work, I try to keep my hand in at boxing, sailing and golf.
